pEVENT MICE SALES MANAGER /p pSan Clemente Palace - Venice, Italy /p pSan Clemente Palace is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Event MICE Sales Manager to strengthen our Groups, Events and MICE business. /p pLocated on its own private island in the Venice Lagoon, just minutes from Piazza San Marco, San Clemente Palace offers a unique setting for high-end corporate events, incentives, weddings, celebrations, product launches, exclusive buyouts and international group business. /p pWe are looking for a proactive sales professional with a strong network within the luxury hospitality, events and MICE sectors who can actively develop new business and position San Clemente Palace as one of Venice’s leading destinations for exceptional events and group experiences. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProactively generate new MICE, group and event business for the hotel. /li liDevelop and maintain relationships with international MICE agencies, DMCs, event planners, corporate clients, luxury travel agencies, wedding planners and incentive houses. /li liIdentify new business opportunities across key European and international feeder markets. /li liManage incoming group and event enquiries from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and contracting. /li liConduct proactive sales calls, client meetings, presentations, site inspections and familiarization trips. /li liRepresent the hotel at relevant international trade fairs, workshops, roadshows and networking events. /li liDevelop creative proposals showcasing the hotel’s private-island setting, event spaces, restaurants, gardens and exclusive-use possibilities. /li liWork closely with the hotel’s Sales, Revenue,
Operations and FB teams to maximize conversion, revenue and profitability. /li liMaintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on leads, conversion, production and future opportunities. /li liMonitor the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends and opportunities within the luxury MICE and events market. /li liBuild long‑term client relationships designed to generate repeat and referral business. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 pThe ideal candidate will have: /p ul liMinimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience within luxury hotels, resorts, high‑end venues, DMCs or the international MICE/event sector. /li liProven experience selling groups, meetings, incentives and events, preferably within the 5-star luxury hospitality segment. /li liA strong existing network of MICE agencies, DMCs, corporate event planners and event professionals. /li liDemonstrated ability to proactively source and convert new business rather than relying primarily on inbound enquiries. /li liStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. /li liExcellent presentation, communication and relationship‑building abilities. /li liExperience managing complex group and event proposals and contracts. /li liAbility and willingness to travel regularly for sales activities, trade fairs and client meetings. /li liFluent English and Italian; additional European languages are a strong advantage. /li liStrong knowledge of the Italian and European luxury hospitality and MICE markets. /li liA polished, professional approach appropriate for an international luxury hospitality environment. /li liKnowledge in Opera Cloud. /li /ul
