In this role, you will drive capital investment and engineering projects at Baxter's Sesto Fiorentino facility to modernize equipment, utilities and plant infrastructure. You will partner with leadership to define the site investment plan and shepherd projects from definition to qualification, ensuring GMP, safety, and budget alignment. The position sits at the intersection of engineering and operations, delivering dependable, compliant solutions.

Responsabilità

Define the site investment plan with Plant Manager and Engineering Manager to convert priorities into engineering projects

Lead projects from technical definition through installation, testing, start-up and closure

Monitor scope, timelines, costs, risks, and actions to keep projects aligned with objectives

Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment, utilities and plant systems

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance,



EHS and Engineering to minimize disruption and safeguard operations

Coordinate contractors, suppliers and technical partners to meet GMP, quality, safety and environmental standards

Support qualification activities and IQ/OQ documentation with Quality and Validation

Prepare CAPEX documentation, cost estimates and progress updates for stakeholders

Maintain comprehensive drawings, manuals, specifications, certifications and project records

Contribute to EHS risk assessments for equipment, utilities and facility modifications

Requisiti fondamentali

Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education

Experience in engineering, maintenance, facilities, utilities or capital-project xrdztoy execution in a regulated manufacturing environment

Understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, risk, supplier coordination, reporting)

Knowledge of GMP, EHS, technical documentation and equipment or utility qualification principles (advantage)

Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills

Good level of English for technical communication with stakeholders

Strong planning and coordination

Effective cross-functional communication

Problem-solving under project constraints

GMP and EHS knowledge
