Overview In this role you drive the hotel’s financial strategy and integrity, partnering with ownership and the Executive Committee. You translate data into insight to boost profitability and lead a high-performing finance team. You will shape the financial future of a Rome icon in the ultra-luxury segment, balancing rigorous controls with strategic investments. This position blends operational finance, compliance, and business partnering to sustain guest experience and financial performance.

margins Prepare timely financial and management reports with variance analysis Approve balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset sub-ledgers Manage hotel contracts and financial arrangements Maintain records for audits to ensure transparency align vendor selection with financial objectives and luxury standards Enforce purchasing policies, thresholds and inventory controls Collaborate with department heads on purchasing needs Ensure compliance with Italian fiscal regulations, Accor policies and chart of accounts Develop and implement internal financial controls and risk management Safeguard leases, contracts and legal records on the Critical Date List Maintain required permits, licenses and regulatory filings Seasoned finance professional with luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality experience ~ Bachelor or higher in Accounting, Finance or related discipline ~5–10 years in hotel accounting or audit ~ Minimum 2 years in a Director of Finance or senior supervisory role ~ Experience budgeting, forecasting, reporting and asset management ~ Experience with ownership groups, external auditors and regulators ~ Knowledge of Italian fiscal and labour regulations Commercial mindset with problem-solving orientation Financial analysis and valuation Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Hospitality systems familiarity (Opera PMS, Sun Systems)
