As a group, we have built up a reputation as a long-term exclusive partner by offering our know-how in communications, sales, and brand building for a selection of renowned international sports brands like Under Armour, Blackroll, 2117, Barts, Diadem and others. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Brand and Technical Trainer for our distributed brand Under Armour with a dedicated focus on footwear and product innovation. In this strategic role, you will serve as a key link between our company and retail partners and our DTC, delivering expert training on product technologies and performance features in Training, Running, Football and Basket.
By embodying our brand values and deeply understanding both retailer and consumer needs, you will help to elevate brand presence, drive sell-through, and ensure our products meet the demands of the athlete community.
Train and Inspire Retail Partners: Deliver impactful training sessions (in-store and online) to field and key account retailers and DTC, educating staff on new technologies, product features, and effective sales techniques to boost sell-through and brand advocacy.
Plan and Execute Store Visits: Develop and maintain a structured schedule for retail visits, ensuring consistent follow-ups and delivering weekly activity reports to internal stakeholders.
Coordinate Product Testing and Events:
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to organize test events and product experiences. Oversee logistics, material distribution, consumer interaction, product testing, and post-event follow-ups.
Manage Product Test Inventory: Handle the distribution and tracking of test products for both B2B (retailers, media, partners) and DTC (end consumers), ensuring timely feedback collection and proper usage.
Drive
Sell-Through at Retail Level: Maintain an active presence in key retail locations, supporting sell-through with hands-on sales assistance and product expertise, with focus on the footwear category.
Collect Market Insights & Feedback: Provide regular reports with feedback from retailers and consumers, analyzing the effectiveness of product initiatives and identifying opportunities for product or service improvement.
Monitor Market Trends: Stay up to date on competitor activity, emerging trends, and consumer behavior within the footwear segment, sharing insights with internal teams to inform strategic decision 2-3 years of experience in a similar role ~ Knowledge of the Italian sporting goods environment ~ Ability to present a topic/product/story ~ Flexibility according to customer needs ~ Fluent in Italian and English ~ Annual Gross Base Salary Range: 30.000€ - 34.000€ + additional target premio of 5-10% of base salary Compensation for this role is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and job-related responsibilities.
