Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of In Stock Specialists to ensure optimal product availability and inventory management within JD.com's extensive supply chain. This role focuses on minimizing out-of-stock situations, optimizing inventory turns, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a seamless flow of goods.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of In Stock Specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to in-stock rates, inventory levels, and stockout frequency, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve product availability.
- Analyze sales data, forecast demand, and collaborate with procurement and merchandising teams to ensure timely replenishment of products.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, slow-moving inventory, and potential stockout risks.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and perpetual inventory systems.
- Collaborate with warehousing, logistics, and supply chain partners to streamline inbound and outbound inventory flows.
- Generate regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting recommendations to management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in inventory management.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related operational role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team building, coaching, and performance management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.
