pWe are looking for a bSenior Data Architect with Microsoft Purview /bfor our Big 4 client and their upcoming projects. We're looking for a hands-on architect with real-world experience implementing, configuring, and operating bMicrosoft Purview /bin benterprise environments /b. The role combines data architecture and data governance design with client-facing consulting: you will lead workshops, design solutions, and drive the Purview implementation from setup to day-to-day operation. This is not a purely advisory position. /p pThis is a long-term contract position with projects for candidates based in the EU. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Purview in enterprise client environments. /li liDesign data architecture and data governance solutions with Microsoft Purview at the core. /li liSet up and manage metadata management: data source registration and scanning, classifications, business glossary, and lineage. /li liBuild and maintain the Data Catalog to enable data discovery across the organisation. /li liIndependently prepare and lead client workshops to gather requirements and align on solution design. /li liAct as a consultant to client stakeholders, translating business needs into governance and Purview solutions. /li liAssess design options and recommend pragmatic, scalable, standards-aligned solutions. /li liProduce architecture and governance artefacts: solution designs, design decisions, implementation and operating guidelines. /li liSupport the transition of Purview into day-to-day operation and guide other members of the implementation team.
/li /ul h3Work Conditions /h3 ul liStart Date: ASAP / upcoming projects /li liLocation: Remote for EU based candidates. /li liLong-term contract-based role /li liContact with EU LLC /li /ul h3Job Requirements /h3 ul li5+ years' experience in Data Architecture and/or Data Governance. /li liHands-on experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Purview in a real enterprise environment (not only a PoC or training), with verifiable project references. /li liStrong experience with metadata management: data source scanning, classification, business glossary, and data lineage. /li liPractical experience building and operating a Data Catalog. /li liSolid understanding of data governance frameworks, data ownership, and stewardship models. /li liExperience independently leading workshops and designing solutions end-to-end. /li liStrong ownership, structured communication, and the ability to drive decisions to resolution. /li liAbility to participate in the discussions and lead the technical discussions /li liHave a consultancy mindset always try to find a solution for the client /li liMake decisions about the solution and design /li /ul h3Technical Requirements /h3 h3Mandatory /h3 ul liMicrosoft Purview: configuration and implementation /li liMetadata Management /li liData Catalog /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liData Governance practices and operating models /li liData Discovery /li liMicrosoft Purview data security and compliance features (e.g., sensitivity labels, DLP) /li liOther data catalogue tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica) /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
