**Position Type** Non-Management At** W Florence**, part of Marriott International’s luxury lifestyle brand, we are looking for a passionate and talented **Junior Sous Chef**to join our dynamic Kitchen Team. The Junior Sous Chef will support the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, creativity, and presentation while maintaining the brand’s distinctive culinary identity. **Responsibilities**
- Support the Chef the Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operations;
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during service;
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines;
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in compliance with HACCP procedures;
- Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimizing food waste;
- Contribute to menu development and new culinary ideas aligned with the W brand concept;
- Train and mentor junior kitchen team members;
- Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and service teams;
**Requirements**: - Previous experience in a similar role high-end restaurant or luxury hotel;
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards;
- Passion for gastronomy, creativity, and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills;
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays;
- Good knowledge of English; additional languages are a plus; **What We Offer**
