AP&S; with its Headquarters based in Germany is looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer, who thrives in troubleshooting hardware, solve complex problems, engages with customers and our factory team in Germany. You will work in state-of-the-art Semiconductor manufacturing environment and be an integral part of a vibrant and diverse team responsible for the installation, maintenance, service and repair of leading-edge wet chemical manufacturing equipment. Field Service Engineer Italy (f/m/d) What Your Day In Service Could Look Like Maintenance and servicing ∶ You carry out maintenance and servicing activities at our customers’ sites in Italy in accordance with customer requirements, applying your expertise in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology. Experience in mechanical engineering and process technology is an advantage. Upgrades to existing equipment ∶ You are responsible for performing upgrades on existing production equipment and use your knowledge of automation technology to effectively optimize systems and equipment. Teamwork is essential, as you will work closely with both colleagues and customers. Support during customer acceptance ∶ You actively support customer acceptance activities and ensure a smooth handover of equipment and systems.



Troubleshooting and fault resolution ∶ Your responsibilities include the systematic analysis and resolution of faults and technical issues on our equipment. Experience in troubleshooting fully automated systems and/or working in the semiconductor industry is a plus, but not a requirement. Completed technical training in mechanics, electronics, automation, or process engineering Minimum of 5 years’ experience and industry knowledge in the semiconductor industry (Front-end) Ideally, experienced with wet-process tools Experience in troubleshooting PC-controlled systems and commissioning electrical systems, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and finding solutions Confident demeanor when interacting with customers and business partners as well as professional communication and mindset Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a structured manner Ability to work well in a team Fluent in Italian and English; German would be an advantage Intercultural and virtual collaboration skills If you are currently living in, or willing to relocate to, Milan or the surrounding area (within a 50km radius) we would be happy to receive your application.
