Overview
In this role you will own the global procurement strategy for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and lead supplier negotiations, risk management and performance across an international, cross-functional context.
You will partner with the Global Category team to enhance supply reliability, cost efficiency and value creation.
The position focuses on shaping API sourcing with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and strong stakeholder engagement.
You will work in a fast-paced environment to drive procurement excellence and impact patient-focused outcomes.

Responsabilità
Contribute to global API procurement strategies and market insights
Lead supplier negotiations and contract management
Drive cost optimization and value creation across the category
Manage supplier performance and improvement plans
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business priorities
Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and ensure compliance
Monitor contracts, renewals and performance metrics
Analyze procurement and supplier data to support decisions and reporting
Requisiti fondamentali
Master's degree in a related field
At least 7 years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing or category management
Pharmaceutical industry experience is a strong plus
Knowledge of APIs and related supplier market is a plus
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Experience in data analysis, contract management and stakeholder engagement
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment
Fluent English; other languages beneficial
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
