pThis position plays a strategic role in building a strong supplier base for OMP and the Concentric group, by developing regional as well as global suppliers. /p pTo develop procurement processes and driving cost savings through strategic supplier partnerships. /p pThis position involves identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services at the best possible value. /p pbExperience /bof 5 years minimum in pure Strategic Sourcing. /p pCandidates with more experience in a tactical role (order placement) are NOT preferred in any case. /p pProven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, with demonstrated success in identifying cost-saving opportunities by negotiating favorable terms and supporting VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) with suppliers. Experience Profile Proven track record of building and maintaining strong supplier relationships. /p pExperience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives. /p pExperience in Vendor development, vendor engineering to ensure stable and smooth flow of material /p pPrevious Experience in New product development, product zero based costing, supplier negotiations, timely execution of projects /p pKnowledge on some of the following processes: Iron and Aluminum Castings, Machining, gears manufacturing and other mechanical components is necessary /p pProficiency in Manufacturing Engineering, Fixtures, Gauges and Tooling. /p h3STRATEGIC SOURCING /h3 pIdentify, evaluate, and on-board suppliers that offer the best value proposition in terms of quality, price, and delivery time. /p pCultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. /p h3Negotiation /h3 pNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms for the company. /p h3Cost Management /h3 pAnalyze spending patterns,



conduct market research, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or service levels. /p pAssess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supplier reliability, geopolitical factors, and market volatility. /p h3Cross-functional Collaboration /h3 pCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations and quality assurance, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless execution. /p pEstablish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor supplier performance and drive accountability. /p h3Compliance /h3 pEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities. bAcademic Qualification Language Skills /b /p pPreferred a degree in Engineering or business. /p pTechnical profiles without a degree but with relevant working experience will be considered. /p pAdditional qualifications in the field of Supply Chain Management, or a related field will be an added advantage. /p pVery good level of English is mandatory.
