We have opportunities for career growth through our diverse businesses which manufacture and service many well-recognized brands.Job SummaryWe are looking for a technically proficient and detail-driven Design Engineer to support the design and development of rotary / centrifugal compressors and related mechanical systems within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and industrial standards relevant to oil & gas applications and will coordinate activities alongside external engineering company as well.ResponsibilitiesDesign of auxiliary systems, baseplate, mechanical/electrical components, tank,



vessel etc to meet the project requirementsEnsure proper selection of Material Selection based on environmental / process conditions and project requirementsAbility to select instrumentation and electrical component is considered a plusPerform Risk Assessment and Design ValidationAbility to manage Root Cause AnalysisSupport the Cost Optimization and Value Engineering while designing parts and skidSupport specific Customer meeting relating to the 3D model review (30%, 60%, 90%), HFE meetings, review meetings, design review meetingsMaintain version control and ensure compliance with industry standards (API, ASME, ISO)QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fieldExperience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or Siemens NX (3-5 yrs experience) is a plusStrong understanding of rotary/centrifugal compressor mechanics and thermodynamic principlesFamiliarity with oil & gas equipment standards and operational environments or similarExperience with offshore application (NORSOK knowledge) is considered a plusExperience with simulation tools (e.G., ANSYS, COMSOL) is a plusAbility to interpret P&IDs and engineering specificationsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesFluency in English; additional languages are a plus.What We OfferOpportunity to work on high-impact energy projects with global clientsCompetitive compensation and benefits packageProfessional development and trainingCCNL Metalmeccanico IndustriaRange Salary: 27.000€- 35.000€Ingersoll Rand Inc.
