You work in an international team to support the Electrical Distribution Certification process and liaise with clients on technical issues and UL requirements. You may travel to client sites to witness tests and gather data. You drive the development of test programs and documentation to meet conformity standards and project goals.ResponsabilitàManage certification projects for wiring devices (connectors, terminal blocks, cable trays, cable glands, plugs and sockets)Define project scope, cost, schedule, sample requirements, and technical documentation from client input and product dataPrepare datasheets and instructions; schedule and review work of Laboratory Technicians; establish completion datesCommunicate with clients on technical issues and UL procedures and requirementsTravel to client sites to conduct or witness tests as neededProvide technical assistance to clients on product evaluations,
inspections, plans review and follow-up servicesEstablish test programs by reviewing files, manufacturer information, samples, and UL requirementsDevelop test requirements for innovative products beyond existing standardsIdentify areas of non-compliance with applicable standards and address themPlan, conduct, and supervise major code and regulatory projects of significant scopeRequisiti fondamentaliUniversity Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics; xysqume plus four yearsof related work experienceDetailed knowledge of technical vocabulary in the disciplineWorking knowledge of conformity standards relevant to the area of expertiseDemonstrated ability to apply project-management concepts in the fieldcommunication with clientsability to work in an international teamproblem-solving and independent judgmentUL procedures and requirementsdevelopment of test programspreparation of datasheets and technical documentation
