Overview
In this role you will lead a distributed engineering team responsible for social features of TheFork’s B2C products. You drive delivery quality, balance velocity with excellence, and partner with product and design to shape the roadmap. You collaborate across engineering leadership to scale initiatives and foster a culture of learning and innovation. You will also leverage AI to accelerate development and improve decision-making, contributing to a broader mission of disrupting the restaurant industry.

Responsabilità
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers
- Own day-to-day delivery decisions ensuring timely, high-quality output
- Improve team processes to balance velocity and quality
- Co-own roadmap planning with product/design partners
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver large-scale initiatives
- Contribute to tech strategy and management within the B2C Tribe
- Ensure the team is engaged, motivated, and aligned with other teams
- Provide feedback, performance reviews and compensation discussions
- Apply AI to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate repetitive tasks
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ people management experience including senior software engineers
- Experience leading high-performing technical teams in distributed environments
- Strong grasp of system design and modern architectures
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node. xysqume js, GraphQL, Kotlin/Swift, and RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and their practical application
- Strong product acumen and understanding of product principles
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Quality-first mindset with mentoring and upskilling focus
