Overview

As a Software Verification Validation & Test Engineer at Alstom, you ensure safety and reliability in railway software systems. You will design and execute verification and validation strategies, and develop test plans to validate complex rail software. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to catch issues early and drive compliance with safety standards. This role offers the chance to improve testing practices in a global, mission-driven environment.

Responsabilità

- Design and execute verification and validation strategies for railway software
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues early
- Drive compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in validation processes




- Support continuous improvement by analyzing results and implementing testing best practices

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent engineering discipline
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python and test automation frameworks
- Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into robust validation scenarios
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in an international environment
- Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of Italian preferred
