Overview

This role oversees cost, schedule, and budget performance across complex projects, coordinating contractors, vendors, and consultants. You will review proposals, approve cost-loaded schedules, and manage capex and payments, ensuring alignment with client goals. You’ll lead client discussions, advocate during disputes, and support engineering decisions that shape project costs. The position offers exposure to high-impact facilities and a chance to influence outcomes from planning through close-out.

Responsabilità

- Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, with analysis of critical milestones
- Oversee General Contractor, vendors, and consultants through the project lifecycle
- Review and approve construction proposals, pricing, scopes, and cost-loaded schedules
- Assess work-in-place, approve capital expenditures, and review payment requests
- Lead client meetings and advocate on behalf of the client during disputes or change orders




- Monitor and report factors influencing construction costs to support engineering decisions
- Coordinate scheduling consultant reviews to ensure timelines are met
- Manage transfer of building operations to the client, including close-out documentation
- Review and validate cost estimates prepared by contractors and the client
- Identify and record occurrences that might lead to claims, acting on the client's behalf

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in Life Sciences, High Tech facility, or Logistics construction
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations
- Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated team player with entrepreneurial thinking and creativity
- Experience in managing teams, delivering commissions, and business development
- Fluent in English and Italian
