ppThe IT Project Manager works to support the successful delivery of IT initiatives and IT Workstreams if presents inside of Business Project Initiatives. The incumbent will act as a key point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, helping to address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and help collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate work performed by IT.
The incumbent will also support compliance efforts, as it relates to contractual commitments. The role requires foundational knowledge of IT Technology (Applications i.e. ERP, Infrastructure, Data … ) PM practices (Waterfall/Agile), and methodologies, and strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. The incumbent will be responsible for helping the team drive the success of projects and ensuring they have a positive impact on the organization /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProject planning: Assist in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, tasks, and resource requirements. /li liSchedule and timeline management: Monitor project progress against established timelines and schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time. /li liDocumentation: Facilitate communication channels with cross-functional teams and document meeting notes. /li liMaintain accurate project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, technical specifications, and meeting minutes. /li liCommunication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. This includes providing regular status updates and reports. Participate in regular progress meetings with IT project team members and track/document all issues and relevant information /li liResource coordination: Help manage and track project resources,
such as personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure efficient use and report to senior team members with regular updates. /li liAssist the team in tracking and preparing reports on project/program progress /li liRisk management: Help identify, track, and mitigate potential project risks and roadblocks that could affect project delivery and … /Research best practices, tools, and methodologies for project/program management. Monitor industry news and trends, contributing to the research of emerging trends and best practices in project management methodologies, information systems, and technologies /li liTeam support: Contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement and innovation in the day-to-day activities of the project/program, answer questions, and help resolve issues as they arise. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Project Management, or in lieu of a degree, at least 2 years of experience in the field of project management or Information Technology, /li li1
- 2 years of experience in project management with a focus on information systems (ideally involving network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, and/or PC deployment), /li liUnderstanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, /li liFamiliarity in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, /li liSolid communication, negotiation,
and problem-solving skills, /li liBasic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, /li liAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, /li liGeneral knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence, /li liSolid communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, /li liA second European language is a nice to have, /li liTravel
