About the Role
GB1 is looking for a Junior Sous Chef/ Chef De Partie to join its team
This is a fantastic opportunity to join and be a crucial part of a high-performance sports team at it’s base in Bagnoli, Naples.
In this role the Junior Sous/CDP will assist the sous chef and head chef with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, supervising cooks, maintaining food quality, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Location: Bagnoli, Naples, Italy
Contract type: Fixed Term - January 27 – August 27’
Hours: 40 per week
Salary: EUR 32,500 – 35,000 RAL, depending on experience, Prorata for the fixed term period
Requirements for this role:
- Preparation of all food & meals for the team ( breakfast, lunch & dinner) under the guidance of the head chef & sous chef
- Support the head chef & the sous chef in maintaining & running of the kitchen to the standards required
- Assist with ordering & translation of food orders if required
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and quality standards at all time and hold others to account for this too
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Sous/Chef De Partie role
- Fluent Italian speaker with a good level of English language too
- Familiar with the local Bagnoli area
- A positive team player
- Punctual
- Flexible to support the needs of the business
