About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to strengthen our Finance team in Italy. You will take responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Working with modern Finance systems, you will help maintain accurate financial records and efficient processes.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, you will collaborate with experienced Finance colleagues locally and across Europe.

Your Responsibilities

- Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate Accounts Payable records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing electronic invoices through Sistema di Interscambio (SdI), including monitoring transmission status and resolving rejections.
- Monitor customer receivables, incoming payments and overdue balances.
- Execute payment reminders and structured collection follow-up.




- Prepare payment proposals and routine account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing through accurate data and documentation.
- Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Continia applications.
- Maintain financial documentation and follow internal accounting controls.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on routine Finance matters.
- Support additional Finance administration, such as expense processing, statutory-reporting data preparation and insurance documentation.
- Contribute ideas for improving and standardizing daily Finance processes.

Your Profile

- Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in AP and/or AR.
- Basic knowledge of Italian accounting, VAT requirements and e-invoicing through SdI.
- Good Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting software.
- Organized, accurate, reliable and proactive working style.
- Team-oriented approach, strong communication and willingness to learn.
- Very good Italian and English skills.

Contract And Renumeration Applicable collective agreement: CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (Commercio).

Fixed term role: 1 year

Gross annual base salary from 35K€ to 45K€ paid in 14 instalments.

Pay within the published range will be determined using objective, gender-neutral criteria, including relevant accounting experience and skills, in line with the responsibilities and contractual level of the role.
