Our client is an international company operating in the retail sector, currently undergoing strong expansion in Italy. We are looking for a hands-on and highly operational Payroll Manager to take full ownership of payroll and personnel administration in Italy. This is not a purely managerial or strategic position. The role requires a senior payroll specialist mindset — someone who enjoys the day-to-day detail, understands operational complexity, and is ready to assume full responsibility while building processes in a hands-on, growing environment. * End-to-end payroll management for 400+ employees (and growing)




* Manual review and validation of payroll data
* Reconciliation of variable components (night shifts, overtime, bonuses, etc.)
* Coordination with external labor consultants
* Implementation and parameterization of payroll ERP
* Development and structuring of payroll processes
* Ensure full compliance with Italian labor legislation and CCNL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* 7+ years of payroll experience in Italy in multi-site environments
* Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
* Experience managing a high volume of employees
* Strong knowledge of Italian labor law and CCNL
* Hands-on experience with variable payroll components
* Experience with payroll ERP systems (implementation or migration is highly valued) #J-18808-Ljbffr
