Project Director - Permanent - Milan, Italy Data Centres Are you a Project Director looking for your next role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading high-tech facilities provider based in Milan, on a permanent contract. Our client delivers cutting-edge projects for data centres worldwide. This is your chance to work with an innovative, market-leading company as their newest Project Director.
What you'll do: Provide overall leadership and direction for the successful delivery of a hyperscale data centre project.
Assume full responsibility for project execution, commercial performance, programme delivery, quality, safety, and stakeholder management.
Establish and develop the project team structure, recruiting and managing key personnel as the project progresses.
Drive project strategy from pre-construction through construction, commissioning,



and client handover.
Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior executive stakeholders.
What you'll need: Proven experience delivering hyperscale data centre projects in a senior leadership capacity.
Previous experience operating as a Project Director, Programme Director, Project Executive, or Senior Project Manager on large-scale mission-critical developments.
Demonstrable track record managing major CAPEX programmes from inception through to completion.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing complex budgets, contracts, and project controls.
Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
