Job description
- Manage electrical installation packages throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring works meet programme, quality and technical requirements.
- Oversee electrical subcontractors, coordinating site activities, labour resources and progress against project schedules.
- Manage electrical site operations, working closely with project managers, engineering teams, consultants and other contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, project specifications and QA/QC procedures.
- Monitor electrical package costs, including labour, materials, plant, equipment, subcontractors and variations.
- Coordinate material procurement and deliveries to support construction schedules and minimise delays.
- Manage progress reporting, site inspections, snagging and quality documentation.
- Support project close-out, including O&M; manuals, safety files, QA documentation and final handover requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within engineering or construction.
- Proven experience coordinating and managing large-scale electrical installation projects.
- A relevant electrical trade qualification and/or third-level qualification.
- Experience working on design and build construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical building services systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors, construction programmes, health and safety requirements and project delivery.
- Experience dealing with industrial relations matters.
- Strong communication, organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage projects against strict deadlines.
- Must hold a valid EU passport.
