We are seeking a compassionate, experienced full-time caregiver to support an elderly individual living with dementia. This is a live-in position based in the Como area (Lombardy, Italy), offering accommodation and a competitive monthly salary.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day personal care and companionship for an elderly patient with dementia
- Support with daily routines: hygiene, dressing, meals, mobility, and medication reminders
- Monitor wellbeing and communicate changes in condition to family/medical team
- Assist with light household tasks related to patient care
- Provide transportation to medical appointments and errands as needed
- Create a calm, safe, and engaging environment, using appropriate dementia-care techniques

Requirements

- Legal right to live and work in the EU
- Willingness to relocate to the Como area
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated experience caring for an elderly patient with dementia (professional or extensive personal experience)
- Fluent English required; Italian a plus
- Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills

Schedule

- Full-time,

- Weekend work required; days off scheduled during the week

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: €3,000+/month, commensurate with experience
- Live-in accommodation provided
