In Italy, we have offices in 12 cities across the country: Turin, Milan, Gallarate, Brescia, Genoa, La Spezia, Modena, Maranello, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, and BariSenior Bid Manager – Telco TransformationWe are looking for a senior Bid Manager to help ALTEN Italy structure, coordinate and improve its response to strategic Telco opportunities, particularly in transformation, managed services and complex opportunities.This role is central to closing one of our current gaps: transforming client access and emerging strategic positioning intocredible, competitive and better-coordinated proposals .This is not an administrative bid support role.It is ahigh-impact orchestration rolerequiring commercial intelligence, rigor, speed, strong writing capability, and the confidence to drive multiple stakeholders toward a winning proposal.The right candidate will support ALTEN in high-quality strategic processes and actively contributing to the Telco business growth through best practices and methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate end-to-end bid processes for strategic Telco opportunitiesWork closely with Business Managers, Solution Architects, delivery stakeholders and leadership to structure competitive responsesDrive bid governance, timelines, workstreams and deliverable qualitySupport bid qualification and bid / no-bid processTranslate client needs into coherent proposal structures and win-oriented narrativesEnsure consistency across technical, commercial, operational and financial proposal componentsImprove the quality of executive writing, value proposition articulation and overall proposal packagingSupport to create repeatable bid assets,
templates and working methods for complex Telco opportunitiesContribute to competitive positioning and response strategySupport cost logic and collaboration with finance / controlling where neededAct as a quality gate on proposal clarity, coherence and competitivenessWhat Success Looks LikeIn the first 12 months, the person is expected to:improve the overall quality and consistency of strategic bid responsesbring stronger governance and discipline to complex pursuitssupport a more robust bid / no-bid processhelp ALTEN become more credible in transformation-oriented opportunities contribute to measurable improvement in conversion quality and proposal competitivenessTechnical / Professional RequirementsMust-have7+ years of experiencein pre-sales, bid management, proposal management, solution selling support, or complex deal pursuit environmentswith TELCO clientsProven experience with medium-to-large bids in one or more of the following:Proven experience with medium-to-large bids in one or more of the following:-telecom-technology services-managed services-outsourcing-transformation programsStrong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders under time pressureExcellent written communication and proposal structuring skillsStrong understanding of bid governance, timelines, dependencies and review cyclesAbility to connect technical, commercial and financial dimensions into one coherent responseExperience in solution-oriented proposal environments, not only administrative tender managementStrong EnglishNice-to-haveExperience in Telco transformation / operator environmentsExposure to managed services or SLA-based modelsExperience in competitive / strategic bids rather than only framework tendersFamiliarity with pricing logic, margin sensitivity and proposal economicsThe total compensation for this position will be set in a range between 60.000 to 85.000 euros (Yearly gross salary + bonus).If you think this is the right position for you, we will be happy to discuss about the details of the offer.Why choose ALTEN?Technological challengesWe believe that technology has great potential to improve our future, which is why we seek out talented individuals who are motivated to build tomorrow’s world today.
