pIn this role you act as a senior technical authority in Cisco CX Professional Services across Italy and Southern Europe, leading design, deployment, and optimization of mission-critical data center networks. You work closely with client stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions using ACI, VXLAN, and Nexus fabrics, while driving automation and modern, AI-ready architectures. You balance hands‑on engineering with strategic consulting, mentoring regional engineers and guiding large-scale transitions. This is a high‑visibility, hybrid role offering impact across networks, security, and service delivery. /p ul liLead end-to-end architecture, design, staging, deployment, and Day-2 acceptance for large data center networks /li liDesign, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI (APIC) and VXLAN fabrics including multi-pod and multi-site deployments /li liDevelop migration architectures and detailed MOPs to transition legacy environments to programmable ACI/VXLAN /li liOperate in a hybrid work model with onsite engagements in Rome and Milan as needed /li liEstablish trusted advisory relationships with Chief Architects and IT leadership; translate business goals into robust architectures /li liDrive network automation and IaC using Python (ACI Cobra SDK), Ansible ACI modules, Terraform ACI Provider, and REST APIs /li liArchitect L4–L7 service integration (firewalls, F5/Citrix load balancers) via ACI Service Graphs, L2Out, L3Out /li liProvide technical leadership, peer review,



and mentorship across the regional delivery team /li liSecondary skills in DC will be considered a plus /li liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) /li li8+ years of hands‑on professional services or network consulting experience in enterprise/SP Data Center environments /li liActive Cisco CCIE Data Center or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure / Routing Switching (or equivalent expert-level mastery) /li liDeep knowledge of ACI fabric design, Spine-Leaf, APIC, VRFs, BDs, EPGs, Contracts, and Micro-segmentation; Multi-Pod and Multi-Site experiences /li liExtensive Nexus 9000/7000/5000 NX-OS experience; VXLAN EVPN with BGP, IRB, DCI /li liExperience with Nexus Dashboard, NDI, NDFC/DCNM, and Network Assurance Engine (NAE) for Day-2 operations /li liFluency in Italian and professional English for customer-facing engagements /li liStrong routing switching expertise (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, Segment Routing, vPC, STP, QoS, multicast) /li liClient-facing communication and presentation skills /li liAnalytical thinking and proven ability to convey complex SDN concepts to executives /li liMentoring and coaching of junior engineers; strong teamwork orientation /li liVXLAN EVPN with BGP control plane, distributed anycast gateway /li liNexus switches (9000/7000/5000), NX-OS /li /ul pConsulting Engineer pavia, lombardia, it /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
