- Informsandkeepthe Head Chefup-to-dateonchallengesandirregularitiesandrecommendcoursesofaction
- Respondstochangepositively,inthedepartmentalfunctionasdictatedbytheindustry,companyorhotel
- Interactswithcolleaguesofotherdepartmentswithinareasofresponsibilityanddevelopssolidworkingrelationshipswiththem
- Hasacompleteunderstandingandadheretothecompany’spolicyrelatingtofoodhygieneandsafefoodhandlingpractices
- Hasacompleteunderstandingof,andadheretotheculinarystandardsrelatingtorecipes,preparationmethodsandplatingstandards
- Liaiseswiththe Stewarding Managerinordertoensurehighstandardsofcleanlinessaremaintainedinallareasofthekitchen,suchasmachinery,small Kitchenequipment,floorsandfridges
- Ensuresthatoperatingandkitchenequipmentismaintainedtoagoodstandardwithminimumbreakage




- Takesresponsibilityforthequalityofincomingproduce,ensuringthatallfoodmerchandiseisinaccordancewithordersheets,receivingrecordsandpurchasingspecifications
- Assiststhe Head Chef,communicatesanddelegatestheproductionschedulefortheday,collatingquantitiestobeproducedfromtheforecastandforthenextday'soperation,totheteamwithclearandconcisedetails,andfollowup
- Toensureallqualityingredientsareaccuratelyordered.
- Ensuresallqualityingredientsareprofessionallypreparedinaccordancewithrecipes,platingguides,buffetsetups,withanemphasisonmaximizingproductiontimeandminimizingwaste,tosupporttheculinaryteamachieveitsfinancialgoals-targets,foodcost.

Theidealcandidateforthispositionwillhavethefollowingexperienceandqualifications:

- Aminimumof1-yearexperienceina Sous Chefpositioninasimilarcontext
- Fluentin Italian,proficiencyinasecondlanguageisconsideredaplus
