/p pWe are seeking a Java Developer – Spring Backend or Backend-Focused Full Stack (Angular) to join a forward-thinking initiative in the financial sector, where we are building a new AI?powered platform that helps users submit tax appeals against imposed decisions, guiding them with relevant legislation examples and supporting the full appeals process.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of an intelligent backend pipeline powered by LLMs, vector databases, RAG optimization, Azure OpenAI integrations, and a modern Angular frontend focused on AI?centric UX and seamless integration of model?generated outputs.

/p h3What You'll Be Doing /h3 ul liDevelopment of microservices and integration with the existing platform /li liImplement a Java application using Spring Boot on backend side and Angular on frontend side, ensuring seamless compatibility, scalability, and fault tolerance /li liImplement data models, APIs, and microservices to integrate with existing systems and databases, enabling seamless data exchange and real?time updates /li liDevelop algorithms and implement forecasting models to predict production volumes based on historical data, market demand, and other relevant factors /li liCreate intuitive user interfaces to facilitate data input, visualization, and analysis, enabling production planners to make informed decisions /li liCollaborate with the testing team to ensure proper functionality, performance, and reliability of the application, conducting thorough unit and integration testing /li liOptimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, fine?tuning code, and implementing caching mechanisms where applicable /li liDocument the development process, including design decisions, technical specifications, and user guides, to ensure knowledge transfer and facilitate future maintenance /li liContribute to the integration of Generative AI capabilities (e.g., ChatGPT?based solutions) into enterprise applications /li liSupport LLM fine?tuning and prompt engineering activities to enhance domain?specific use cases (e.g., automation of business processes, document generation)
/li liCollaborate on the design and implementation of AI?driven features to improve data processing, decision?making, and user interaction /li liImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring efficient and automated build, test, and deployment processes /li liWork with modern development tools and environments (e.g., Java/Spring Boot ecosystem, cloud?native and containerized setups) /li /ul h3What You'll Bring Along /h3 ul liA University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering?related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience /li liAt least 5 years of experience in a similar position /li liStrong application development experience with Java and Spring Boot /li liExperience with frontend?related frameworks and tools such as Angular is a plus /li liHands?on experience or strong interest in LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT), prompt engineering, or model fine?tuning is considered a strong advantage /li liBasic to solid understanding of Generative AI concepts (GenAI fundamentals) /li liSolid experience with microservices architecture /li liExperience with unit testing and test automation /li liWorking experience with Maven or similar build tools /li liExperience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka) /li liFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization frameworks /li liExperience with Shell scripting and Git /li liWorking experience with databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB /li liFamiliarity with build and deployment automation, including GitHub Actions /li liExposure to cloud?based systems is a plus /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English /li liNice to have: good written and understanding skills in German /li /ul #J-*****-Ljbffr
