COOLTECH srl, a company specialized in the production of components and systems for liquid cooling of electrical and electronic devices, is looking for a PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Mission:

Ensure maximum economic efficiency and supply chain sustainability through structured, strategic management of product costs throughout their entire lifecycle. Working in synergy with technical and production teams, the Procurement Specialist aims to optimize the supplier base, drive Cost Excellence, and ensure system data accuracy, actively supporting COOLTECH’s competitiveness and growth in the global market.

Key Responsibilities

- Cost Management and Optimization: Take full accountability for product costs at every stage of the lifecycle; support technical decisions during the product development phase and optimize costs during mass production.
- Cost Saving Strategies: Define and execute structured plans for cost reduction and cost excellence, actively promoting Design-to-Cost projects.
- Supplier Scouting and Management: Actively search for and qualify new suppliers globally. Define long-term plans and strategies to monitor and control commercial partners’ performance.
- Lifecycle Monitoring and KPIs: Continuously monitor suppliers and their products/services through defined KPIs, manage component obsolescence (End of Life), and maintain up-to-date price lists.
- Master Data Management: Ensure the integrity of system data related to purchased products and services (inputting and monitoring prices, lead times, and commercial agreements).

Requirements

- Willingness to undertake short-term, non-recurring global travel (maximum 2 consecutive weeks) to suppliers, customers, or Group locations.
- Engineering background combined with at least 5 years of experience in the role.




- Alternatively: Proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in the role (even without a university degree).
- 5 to 10 years of previous experience in the role.
- English: Advanced level (B2/C1)
- ERP (SAP or SAGE): Good proficiency
- Business Intelligence Platforms: Good proficiency in knowledge and usage
- Negotiation Skills: Strongly result-oriented with the ability to manage complex negotiations with international partners.
- Mindset & Approach: Methodical approach aimed at independently designing, setting up, and executing operational plans or continuous improvement projects.
- Teamwork: Strong aptitude for teamwork and the ability to share corporate needs and goals clearly and straightforwardly.
- Leadership: Ability to lead projects, positively influence internal/external stakeholders, and make strategic decisions.
- Accuracy: Utmost precision in system data management and strategic planning.

What We Offer

- Employment Contract: Contract type to be defined based on the candidate’s experience, in accordance with the Italian National Collective Labor Agreement for the Engineering Industry (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria, 13 monthly salaries).
- Classification & Salary: Job grading and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and overall profile fit relative to the required activities and skills. Target gross annual salary (RAL) ranges between €35.000 and €45.000; Benefits: €5 meal vouchers.

Working Conditions

- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
