Role summarySt.
Louise School – Caviglia Campus (Milan) is looking for an Early Years Teacher on a maternity cover starting January ****.
Experience with the IB PYP curriculum is preferred, but other curricula are considered.
Key responsibilitiesDeliver high?quality, play?based education for children aged 2?5.
Plan and implement learning experiences that support cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Observe, assess and track children's progress and use evidence to inform planning.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent early years provision.




Support early language, communication, numeracy and social development through structured and play?based activities.
Participate in school events, trips and extracurricular activities.
Apply safeguarding, behaviour and pastoral care policies.
Reflect on practice and engage in continuous professional development.
Ideal candidateRecognised early years teaching qualification.
Experience with children aged 2?5 in an early years or nursery setting.
Knowledge of child development and frameworks such as EYFS, Reggio Emilia or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills with children, parents and colleagues.
Strong classroom management, organisation and planning abilities.
Passionate, child?centred approach that inspires curiosity and creativity.
Reflective and adaptable mindset committed to continuous improvement.
