TTEP Italia is looking for a motivated Senior Gas Trader to support its growing gas portfolio and generation assets.

CCGTs), ensuring alignment between trading strategies, physical delivery, and system balancing.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor Italian and European gas markets (PSV, TTF) with focus on short-term dynamicsExecution of spot trading strategies (day-ahead, within-day, weekend)Analyze key drivers impacting gas prices and spreadsContribute to portfolio optimization, including hub positioning and balancing strategiesSupport interaction between gas and power portfolios, particularly for CCGT dispatch optimizationPrepare daily reports on positions, P&L; and market fundamentalsManage gas nominations and re-nominations on SNAM platformMonitor and manage the daily gas balance positionMaintain accurate operational data in internal systemsDevelop and maintain quantitative tools to support trading decisions: position tracking, imbalance forecasting, P&L; attribution and scenario analysisMonitor exposure in line with portfolio mandates and risk limitsEnsure accurate trade capture in ETRM systemsThe role is organised on a shift basis, with service coverage required 7 days a week, within an indicative time window of 8:00 a.M.



to 6:00 p.M.RequisitiEducationMaster's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.Technical SkillsStrong interest in energy markets, particularly gas and power integrationAt least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and/or in comparable activitiesUnderstanding of gas market structure (PSV, balancing, storage), power generation economicsStrong analytical and numerical skillsKnowledge of Excel and PythonFamiliarity with trading tools (e.G.
