h3Job Location /h3 pLegnaro (Padua), Italy - with flexibility for partial remote work; /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop smart antenna and wireless systems for WiFi (WiFi 7 and WiFi 8) and UWB. /li liWork with hardware engineers to integrate antenna systems into communication platforms, ensuring seamless operation and system compatibility. /li /ul h3Algorithm Development /h3 ul liDevelop and optimize algorithms for smart antenna control, wireless link optimization, and UWB ranging and angle-of-arrival processing to improve coverage, reliability, throughput, and positioning accuracy. /li liImplement, simulate, and test algorithms using Python, embedded platforms, and commercial products from major vendors. /li /ul h3Software Development Integration /h3 ul liDesign and develop embedded software for smart antenna control and UWB positioning systems. /li liWrite efficient, maintainable, and high-performance C code for real-time embedded wireless systems. /li /ul h3Performance Optimization Testing /h3 ul liDesign and conduct system validation and performance testing for WiFi and UWB solutions. /li liDebug and troubleshoot issues involving algorithms, embedded software, RF behavior, system integration, and test setups. /li liCollaborate with hardware teams to ensure optimal performance of the overall system. /li /ul h3Collaboration Technical Contribution /h3 ul liWork closely with RF engineers, hardware designers, and test engineers to integrate solutions into WiFi routers and mesh systems and UWB anchors and tags. /li liContribute to the development of technical documentation, including system architectures, interface specifications, integration guides, and documentation. /li liStay up to date with developments in WiFi standards, UWB positioning technologies, and embedded systems. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
