Headquartered in Abano Terme (PD), Fidia extends its global reach through local partners and distributors in 120+ countries worldwide, as well as with wholly owned subsidiaries. /ph3Job Description /h3pTo support HQ’s Automation Department in managing the automation of equipment and industrial systems at Paderno Dugnano Plant, we are recruiting an Automation Specialist. The candidate will be involved in the automation of SCADA, equipment and industrial systems for project implementation, system management and maintenance, and supplier management. /ph3Main responsibilities: /h3ulliSupport existing PLC, HMI, and SCADA management. /liliManage the OT infrastructure supporting the SCADA and PLC network. /liliMonitor OT network performance and propose potential adjustments. /liliDiagnose and resolve automation system faults with vendor support. /liliManage automation and network vendors for current system maintenance and new project development. /liliSupervise new project phases: from URS drafting, planning, vendor selection and management to installation supervision and IOPQ. /liliManage peripheral and core switches, firewalls, and infrastructure servers with vendor support. /liliCoordinate the physical connection of automation systems to the OT network. /liliManage user groups and access policies for the OT network. /liliWork in coordination with Engineering, IT, and Production teams. /li /ulh3Requirements: /h3ulliTechnical High School Diploma in Electronics, Automation, or Computer Science. /liliA degree in a related field is considered a plus. /liliAt least 5 years of experience managing PLC and SCADA systems, gained either in manufacturing plants or with automation system/machinery suppliers.
/liliStrong proficiency in PLC programming languages and architecture. /liliSolid knowledge of SCADA development and supervisory platforms. /liliGood understanding of industrial network infrastructure and network hardware. /liliExcellent knowledge of both written and spoken English. /liliPrior experience within regulated industries (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Nutraceuticals, or Cosmetics) and familiarity with GMP standards is strongly preferred. /liliStrong integrity, a high degree of independence, and meticulous attention to detail. /li /ulh3Our offer: /h3pPermanent contract.
