Overview

In this role you will steward environmental, health and safety performance at the Goa site, aligning with local and company standards to protect people and the environment while enabling production. You will partner with the HSE head and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance, monitor emissions and waste, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead investigations of incidents, foster a proactive HSE culture, and support training and governance across the site. Your work enables safe, sustainable operations that support Sanofi's mission to deliver medicines at scale. This is a hands-on role with impact on daily operations and site risk management.

Responsabilità

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards at the site; support permits
- Act as primary contact with environmental regulatory agencies; submit reports
- Assess and mitigate environmental impacts of site operations
- Monitor environmental performance (air, water, waste, GHG) and oversee monitoring programs
- Support engineering to reduce environmental footprint and optimize resource use
- Lead investigations of environmental incidents and implement corrective actions




- Promote proactive HSE culture and conduct risk assessments for chemical/biological/ergonomic hazards
- Develop and deliver training on industrial hygiene and PPE use
- Implement corrective actions and continuously improve safety programs
- Maintain site HSE management system and governance framework
- Coordinate site risk assessment and mitigation; manage HSE policy compliance
- Support HSE continuous improvement plan aligned with global roadmaps
- Manage HSE team activities including hiring and performance development
- Support emergency response and crisis management

Requisiti fondamentali

- Thorough knowledge of EHS requirements and standards
- Good exposure to change management
- Experience with data analytics tools and digital health and safety solutions
- Cross-functional experience (production, operations, engineering) is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant experience; pharma experience preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in training contractual manpower
- Strong stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills
