System Analyst and Simulation Engineer

MBDA Italia is the Italian company that is part of the multinational MBDA group, a world leader in the missile systems sector. MBDA represents the leading European Group with production and design capabilities able to cover the entire range corresponding to the current and future needs of the armed forces (land, air, and sea). Within the Programs Directorate, for the Eurosam Simulation Center, MBDA Italia SpA is looking for a System Analyst and Simulation Engineer. Required Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering
- Master's degree in Physics
- Master's degree in Mathematics
- Minimum grade: 105/110

Professional Experience (indicate the type of experience required and the minimum and maximum years of experience ):

- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of work experience

Activities foreseen for the role : The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

- Integration and validation of subsystem models that constitute the simulation of the missile system (radar, missile, launcher, command and control center)
- Use of simulation to evaluate the performance of the missile system against defined scenarios
- Execution of functional studies




- Drafting of performance reports and documentation associated with simulation models

Professional Skills :

- Excellent knowledge of imperative programming principles
- Excellent knowledge of Fortran
- Good knowledge of C and C++
- Excellent knowledge of the Linux shell
- Excellent knowledge of compilation tools in a Linux environment
- Good knowledge of the Git configuration control tool
- Good knowledge of main data analysis tools (e.g., Matlab, Python)

Preferred elements include:
- Knowledge of issues related to the modeling of a complex system using a digital simulation
- Knowledge of system engineering methods and processes
- Linux system administrator skills
- Knowledge of distributed simulation methodologies (for other roles within the Eurosam Simulation Center)
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (for other roles within the Eurosam Simulation Center)

Language Skills :

- Excellent knowledge of English
- Knowledge of French is a plus

Organizational Skills/Soft skills :

- Working in a team with French colleagues
- Initiative and task orientation
- Availability for international travel
