Injection Molding Technologist

Serioplast , a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging , is looking for a Senior Injection Molding Technologist to join its plant in St. Louis, Missouri, United States .
What will you do?
- Serve as a key point of reference for Technologists and support the Technical Manager in setting priorities, removing bottlenecks, and addressing critical issues
- Set up product recipes, ensuring all required regulations and PLC parameters are correctly applied
- Perform necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments and monitor production variables to ensure product specifications are met
- Conduct investigations and troubleshooting to resolve quality issues
- Train and support production staff in resolving minor technical problems affecting product quality
- Carry out electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning systems, dryers, leak testers, cameras, palletizers, etc.)
- Develop solutions by fabricating mechanical or other components to address production or technical issues and improve machine performance
- Support the Technical Manager in continuous improvement projects and in decisions regarding machines, equipment, molds, and processes
What are we looking for?
- Excellent knowledge of plastic Injection Molding technology, with specific experience in injection molding machines of PET preforms on high-cavitation molds (required)
- Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems
- Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques
- Good applied knowledge of WCM standards
- Solid experience working with industry specific technologies and productive processes
- Fluency in English
- Available to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, United States

- Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 gross annual salary. The job level and compensation will be determined based on objective criteria, including experience, skills, and role responsibilities. Candidates with higher salary expectations driven by a more senior profile or specialized expertise will also be considered
