The opportunity
HyFlex is Hitachi Energy’s hybrid power solution combining hydrogen fuel cells and battery storage to provide a cleaner alternative to conventional diesel generation where grid access is limited or unavailable. We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to help build market awareness, support customer engagement at an early stage and convert interest into qualified opportunities. You will work at the intersection of business development, product management, sales and the operational organization. The role combines customer-facing activities with structured analysis and the hands‑on creation of the materials,



tools and documentation needed to scale a new business. This role suits someone who enjoys opening doors, articulating value propositions and supporting business scale-up.
How you’ll make an impact
Build awareness of HyFlex across priority markets, customer segments and sales channels through targeted outreach, events and presentations.
Support early customer engagement by researching accounts, identifying stakeholders and preparing discovery conversations around operational needs and decarbonization goals.
Develop qualified leads and manage opportunity pipelines through structured follow-up and effective use of CRM tools.
