- Respondstochangepositively,inthedepartmentalfunctionasdictatedbytheindustry,companyorhotel
- Interactswithcolleaguesofotherdepartmentswithinareasofresponsibilityanddevelopssolidworkingrelationshipswiththem
- Hasacompleteunderstandingandadheretothecompany’spolicyrelatingtofoodhygieneandsafefoodhandlingpractices
- Hasacompleteunderstandingof,andadheretotheculinarystandardsrelatingtorecipes,preparationmethodsandplatingstandards
- LiaiseswiththeStewardingManagerinordertoensurehighstandardsofcleanlinessaremaintainedinallareasofthekitchen,suchasmachinery,smallKitchenequipment,floorsandfridges
- Ensuresthatoperatingandkitchenequipmentismaintainedtoagoodstandardwithminimumbreakage

- Takesresponsibilityforthequalityofincomingproduce,ensuringthatallfoodmerchandiseisinaccordancewithordersheets,receivingrecordsandpurchasingspecifications
- AssiststheHeadChef,communicatesanddelegatestheproductionschedulefortheday,collatingquantitiestobeproducedfromtheforecastandforthenextday'soperation,totheteamwithclearandconcisedetails,andfollowup
- Toensureallqualityingredientsareaccuratelyordered.
- Ensuresallqualityingredientsareprofessionallypreparedinaccordancewithrecipes,platingguides,buffetsetups,withanemphasisonmaximizingproductiontimeandminimizingwaste,tosupporttheculinaryteamachieveitsfinancialgoals-targets,foodcost.

Theidealcandidateforthispositionwillhavethefollowingexperienceandqualifications:

- Aminimumof1-yearexperienceinaSousChefpositioninasimilarcontext
