As a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues.
Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
pWe are looking for a bField Service Engineer /b, who will support our customer and our team in buAgrate Brianza (Monza, Italy) /u /b, guaranteeing the best performance of Applied Material's Equipment. /pbrpbKey Responsibilities: /b /pullibManagement of equipment performance and supply of spare parts /b /lilibImplement and guarantee all levels of preventative and corrective maintenance within timelines /b /lilibSupporting in Troubleshooting activities and fix technical issues on equipment.
/b /lilibDiagnoses and resolves hardware issues through understanding of software and process data as needed. /b /lilibPerforms upgrades and retrofits on equipment. /b /liliEnsures that the team apply the correct procedures and checklist for maintenance both corrective and preventive /liliUnderstands and implement correct work methodologies and procedures as per company and customer quality standards. /liliAnticipates and responds to equipment issues and escalations in a timely manner /liliCollaborates and communicates with company stakeholders /liliParticipates in internal and customer meetings. /liliWithin assigned scope,
assist management in operation of site service business.
/liliAssists Applied Materials field management in establishing and achieving objectives for assigned account. /liliKeeps field management informed on customer perception of system performance.
