Job Description
The Front Office Agent, under the supervision of the Front Office Manager, will be responsible for providing impeccable and personalized guest service, ensuring that all service standards align with the excellence of Relais & Châteaux. This role will contribute to creating a memorable guest experience, working closely with all hotel departments to deliver a seamless and consistent service.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out, accurately handling procedures and payments.
- Provide personalized reception services and escort guests to their rooms.
- Manage reservations using the PMS Protel system and dedicated platforms (including Passportscan).
- Coordinate room service, shuttle, and guest handling services.
- Organize and monitor pre-arrivals, ensuring an optimal preparation for the guest’s stay.
- Manage the switchboard and both internal and external communications.
- Actively collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth, top-tier service experience.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, or languages.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within luxury or 5-star hotels.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential; knowledge of a third language (French or Spanish) is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in PMS Protel and document management systems (Passportscan).
- Problem-solving skills, outstanding communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong customer orientation, flexibility, team spirit, and attention to detail.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Italy.
Additional Information
- Contract starting from the 2027 season.
- Full-time availability required, with both daytime and nighttime shifts, from Monday to Sunday.
- Local talent is preferred; however, shared accommodation will be provided for non-residents.
