Tecnimont is looking for a Design HSE Engineer or Design HSE Senior Engineer to join the Design HSE Function. Job Summary / Role Description Both the Design HSE Senior Engineer and the Design HSE Engineer participate in all activities of the Design HSE engineering discipline within the scope of offers, studies, and projects (Basic, FEED, and EPC), under the supervision of the Design HSE Manager or Design HSE Leader. According to the complexity of the activities and the level of autonomy required, the activities described below are assigned to either the Design HSE Engineer or the Design HSE Senior Engineer. The candidate has specific know-how in process safety design and risk analysis, with solid and well-referenced knowledge of:
• Safety design (e.g. HSE legislation/standards/norms compliance, layout spacing, spill containment)
• Hazard analysis techniques (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA) including follow-up for actions closure
• Consequence and risk analyses (QRA, FERA, BRA, ERA, ESSA, COMAH-Bow Tie) including the use of related software (TNO Effects, DNV Phast, DNV Safeti, etc.)
• Active and Passive Fire protection design according to main engineering standards (API 2218, IP, NFPA, etc.)
• Hazardous Area Classification design and main related design standards (IEC, IP, NFPA, etc.)
• Fire and Gas detection and alarming system
• Reliability Availability and Maintainability analysis
• Environmental protection (e.g. BAT compliance, emission limits specification, noise study)

Key Responsibilities
As a Design HSE Engineer,

under the guidance of Design HSE Manager or Leader, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring that design HSE requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle;
• Participating in design HSE reviews, audits, risk assessments, and studies;
• Preparing and reviewing design HSE documentation, such as specifications, procedures, reports, manuals, P&IDs;, layout, hydraulic calculations, etc.;
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, authorities, etc. on design HSE issues;
• Identifying and implementing design HSE best practices and lessons learned;
• Participate to surveys (Pre Startup Safety Review) or assistance in field for HSE engineering subjects;
• To keep him/herself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline. Requirements and Skills
• Good knowledge of process safety / HSE engineering design including consequence and risk analysis, fire protection design, environmental protection.

• Engineering graduation with focus on risk analysis / loss prevention design in particular for Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industry.

consistent with the job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement. Compensation The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly instalments, will be €55,000.
• The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement, as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation premio.
