$2,000–$2,600 USD/month Role and Company Overview: HireMango is placing an Ecommerce Operations & Website Coordinator for a fast-growing US direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand with over a decade in business and 50,000+ customers. They operate on Shopify and run an internal AI-enabled operating system. This role owns the website change queue from intake to release — coordinating developers and designers, QA-ing every change on desktop and mobile, and translating marketing and CRO priorities into clear technical briefs. Routine changes are executed directly in Shopify; complex development work is escalated.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the website change queue including briefs, priorities, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and release status
• Coordinate Shopify updates across landing pages, product pages, merchandising, navigation, and promotional content
• Translate marketing and CRO requests into clear requirements for developers and design partners
• Use the internal AI system to draft briefs, maintain documentation, track follow-ups, and build repeatable workflows and QA checklists
• Test every change on mobile and desktop — links, pricing, promotions, forms, tracking, and full purchase journey — before and after launch
• Make routine changes directly in Shopify and escalate complex development work
• Keep stakeholders informed and close the loop on every open item
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in ecommerce operations or website coordination roles
• 3-4+ years of hands-on Shopify experience (themes, product and collection pages, navigation, promotions)
• Proven project coordination track record — managing a queue of requests to on-time delivery
• Strong working knowledge of UX/UI principles
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS to troubleshoot issues and brief technical teams
• Clear, professional written English
• Demonstrated, practical daily use of AI tools
• Reliable availability during US business hours (PST–EST)
• Ability to share work examples and complete a short role-relevant exercise Nice-to-Haves:
• Shopify Liquid or theme customization experience
• Exposure to CRO, A/B testing, or landing page optimization
• Familiarity with analytics and tracking QA (GA4, tag managers, pixels)
• Experience writing SOPs, QA checklists, or release documentation
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows or prompts for operations work
• Prior work with freelance developers or design agencies Software and Tools: Shopify
