Job Description
Logistics Operations Expert
Salary range: €49,000-€65,000 gross per year, depending on experience
The Logistics Operations Expert ensures the smooth, compliant and customer-focused daily management of ordering, logistics and invoicing for primary movements-from order entry through delivery to the final destination. The role strengthens alignment between service providers and Syngenta teams while driving performance and improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Own standardised cross-functional processes in Logistics and Order Management, driving continuous improvement with third-party service providers.
- Manage escalated Level 1 Order Management and Logistics issues across Order Management, third-party logistics providers, site teams and internal customers.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve Logistics and Order Management service levels.
- Coordinate and advise stakeholders across Regional/Country P&S; teams, Commercial Units and Atessa Site Logistics in alignment with service providers.
- Support the Logistics Operations Manager in monitoring the performance of third-party providers.
- Help ensure that service providers comply with all business requirements and Syngenta codes of practice.
- Support and coach Key Users on ways of working and current business priorities.

- Lean and analytical thinking to identify trends, determine root causes and initiate sustainable solutions.
- Strong stakeholder and expectation management, with the ability to turn operational detail into clear recommendations for leaders.
- Advanced English and professional Italian.
