About The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced C# Back-End Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core back-end systems that power Hercle’s trading and infrastructure platforms. Your work will directly support mission-critical services that operate at high throughput and low latency in dynamic digital asset markets.
Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable back-end systems using C#.
- Implement APIs, microservices, and real-time data pipelines that integrate with internal and external systems.
- Collaborate closely with trading, product, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize system performance and ensure stability in high-frequency, low-latency environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing across the development team.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address them.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and contribute to infrastructure automation.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience developing back-end systems in C#/.NET.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control systems (e.g., Git), and testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and able to take ownership of deliverables.
