We are looking for a Senior R&D; Engineer to join our Capsules Business Unit, playing a key role in delivering new product solutions from concept to industrial validation. The role is based in Bodio Lomnago (VA). Your Mission Drive product innovation and ensure disciplined, execution-focused R&D; activities
- delivering robust, scalable solutions across our global industrial footprint. What You’ll Do
• Lead innovation and customer-driven development projects from concept to industrial validation
• Apply structured Innovation & Product Development processes (stage-gate approach)
• Ensure clear documentation, milestone tracking, and project progression
• Evaluate industrial feasibility (materials, processes, product solutions)
• Coordinate validation plans (mechanical, environmental, durability testing)
• Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies




• Support root cause analysis when needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Operations teams
• Ensure alignment across multiple international sites
• Provide structured reporting to Group R&D; Who You Are
• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
• 5–9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in product innovation and development projects
• Strong project management skills (planning, coordination, execution)
• Experience with multi-component industrial products
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments
