ul liDefine and coordinate procurement strategy, governance, processes, KPIs and supplier-management standards across NMS plants. /li liLead category strategies and Group negotiations for paper and specialty papers, chemicals, coatings, varnishes, aluminum, energy, logistics and selected MRO, services and CAPEX. /li liIdentify cross-plant synergies, consolidate demand and develop sourcing alternatives and second-source strategies. /li liPartner with Operations, RD and Quality to challenge specifications, qualify alternative materials and improve total converted cost. /li liLead strategic supplier negotiations, improve commercial and contractual terms, understand cost drivers and build long-term technical-commercial partnerships. /li liMonitor supply risk and implement mitigation plans. /li liCoordinate local buyers through an international functional network, while preserving plant-level responsiveness and accountability. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul liA hands-on procurement leader with a strong technical or engineering mindset and proven commercial, sourcing, negotiation and supplier-management capabilities. /li liCandidates may come from strategic procurement, category management or a technical B2B commercial background. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liEngineering, chemistry, materials science or another relevant technical/scientific discipline is preferred. /li liEquivalent industrial experience may compensate for a different academic background. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liSignificant experience in strategic procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, technical sales, business development or supplier management. /li liExperience in paper, chemicals, coatings, packaging, converting, specialty materials or another raw-material-intensive process industry is highly desirable.
/li liExperience leading major negotiations and coordinating stakeholders across sites and functions. /li libTechnical: /b understands industrial raw materials, specifications, quality and their impact on manufacturing performance. /li libCommercial: /b strong negotiation, cost analysis, supplier economics and contract-management skills. /li libAnalytical: /b data-driven and able to distinguish purchase-price savings from genuine total-cost improvement. /li libLeadership: /b pragmatic, influential and effective in an international matrix organization. /li libCollaboration: /b able to work closely with Site Management, Operations, RD, Quality, Finance and Sales. /li /ul h3Operating Model /h3 pThe role owns commercial strategy and category performance, working with internal technical experts on specifications and process implications, and with RD, Quality and Operations on qualification and industrial performance. /p h3Location: /h3 pCasalgrasso (CN)
