Join our Sales team as a Field Account Manager and play a key role in driving revenue growth and building long-term customer relationships across assigned accounts in your territory. By leading the commercial sales process, executing account plans and coordinating Technical Sales involvement, you will help customers adopt solutions that contribute to better health for more people. Based in Italia, this field-based role involves more than 50% travel to engage directly with customers. Please apply in English only. Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, multi-level, long-term customer relationships to strengthen account engagement, satisfaction and retention and protect recurring revenue Expand Sartorius' share of wallet within assigned accounts through cross-selling and multi-product penetration in line with account plans and expected portfolio mix, increasing revenue per account Lead the commercial stages of the sales cycle, including proposals, negotiations and commercial closure, while coordinating Technical Sales involvement for early-stage opportunity creation, technical validation and technical closure to increase win rates and solution adoption Identify and develop growth opportunities within assigned accounts, leveraging Technical Sales for technical validation, trials and solution design to deepen stakeholder engagement, uncover new internal use cases and expand adoption of the Sartorius portfolio Drive adoption of innovative and newly launched products by positioning their value,
ensuring successful implementation and delivering NPI-related targets, including adoption rates and conversion from trials, to accelerate time to revenue Integrate newly won customers into the assigned account base to ensure relationship continuity and expansion, capturing new use cases in the account plan to enable systematic account development and prevent value leakage after the sale Use SFDC actively to maintain pipeline accuracy, document customer interactions and ensure accurate forecasting and data-driven territory steering, supporting effective prioritization and performance transparency What Will Convince Us Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field 3+ years of field sales experience in the life science or technical industry, managing mid-size or large accounts Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation, opportunity management and account planning skills Confident communication skills and the ability to influence diverse decision-makers and effectively partner with Technical Sales to shape customer solutions High proficiency in CRM (SFDC) for pipeline management, forecasting and data-driven sales steering Willingness to travel more than 50%, reflecting the role's strong focus on external customers Our technologies help translate scientific discoveries into real-world medicine faster, so that new therapeutics can reach patients worldwide.
