Cora Hospitality
Business Development Representative (BDR) At Cora, we're building the first AI-powered Operations Management Platform for the hospitality industry. We help hospitality teams simplify operations, reduce friction, and deliver better guest experiences — effortlessly. We believe work should feel like great hospitality: smooth, human, and actually enjoyable. Now we want to go and get the accounts that don't know us yet. We're hiring our first Business Development Representative. This is not a seat in a 40-person SDR floor: you'll build Cora's outbound engine almost from scratch, working side by side with the founders. Your job is to open doors with the accounts that matter most to us: hotel groups (3–15 properties), property managers and short-term rental operators, student housing, and public/university hospitality. You'll find them, reach them, and turn cold contacts into qualified meetings. Around 30% of your time goes to the other side of the funnel: making sure every inbound lead we already generate gets a fast, sharp follow-up and becomes a real conversation. Build and keep up target account lists for our priority segments (groups, PM/extra-hotel, student housing, public sector) Run multichannel outbound: cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn. Write your own messaging and test what works.
Qualify prospects (fit, size, decision-maker, timing) and book meetings for the sales team Keep the CRM clean and your pipeline honest. If it's not in the CRM, it didn't happen. Share what you hear from the market with sales, marketing, and product Numbers you can show us: meetings booked per month, reply rates, quota attainment. Not afraid of the phone. You can handle a "no" and still make the next call with energy. ~ Excellent written Italian and fluent English. Spanish is a strong plus. ~ Hands-on with a CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio or similar) and outbound tools (Apollo, Lemlist, Sales Navigator or similar) ~ Hospitality experience is a plus, not a requirement. Our founder spent 10 years running hotels. Qualified meetings booked per month with our priority segments. This is your main metric, and your variable pay depends on it. Quality of pipeline: meetings that turn into real opportunities, not just calendar entries Direct access to the founder (ex GM @ Accor) and to every deal you source BDR Account Executive / Business Development Manager. A young, smart, and supportive team, and a flexible working setup RAL €27–32K + variable on qualified meetings, based on experience
