About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Mandarin Garden Department in Milan, the Chef de Rang is responsible for assistingthe Restaurant team to provide impeccable service at all times to guests. The Chef de Rang reports to the Director of Mandarin Garden.
As Chef de Rang,
you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Professional advice and care of our guests
- Professional serving of food and drinks
- Ensuring smooth work processes at your own station, in compliance with our quality standards
- Providing the required mise en place
- Supporting the restaurant management in carrying out daily tasks
- Assisting with the preparation and implementation of special events
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP guidelines
As Chef De Rang, We Expect From You
- Speak, read and communicate in a good level of English and Italian
- previous experience working in a food & beverage environment, ideally in a high-end, luxury establishment.
- You will be guest focused, an excellent communicator and possess high levels of attention to detail.
