Overview

As a Digital HW Engineer, you contribute to the X-Haul team within Nokia's MW&CSN; unit, shaping digital hardware for microwave transport. You translate high-level requirements into robust HW solutions and own features end-to-end, from design through verification. You work across a global, multicultural team to keep state-of-the-art methods and technologies at the forefront. This role offers impact on module-level hardware and system integration within the Wavence family.

Responsabilità

- Requirement analysis and feasibility studies
- HW architecture definition and technology/component selection
- HW development and detailed design
- HW unit test/qualification and reporting
- HW project status reporting and tracking
- HW configuration management




- HW pre-integration at system level (modem and RF parts)
- Contribute to process improvement and innovation

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or related field
- Strong maths and physics background
- Experience with test equipment (Ethernet testers, power supplies, scopes)
- Knowledge of digital components (Ethernet switches, memories, modem, microprocessor)
- HW design experience and product lifecycle understanding
- Schematic capture tools experience (Mentor or similar)
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Good teamwork, adaptability, and accountability
- Ability to collaborate across diverse backgrounds
