Overview

In this role you will own end-to-end payroll execution for targeted regions, leveraging Deel’s platform to ensure compliant, timely payroll. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to implement local regulations, optimize processes, and manage vendor relationships. You’ll act as the go-to expert for complex payroll matters and drive continuous improvement. This is a high-impact position at a global scale, shaping how Deel supports workers worldwide.

Responsabilità

- Evaluate and select payroll software aligned with Deel product requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll in your region and other trained countries
- Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports for local tax compliance
- Own critical local payroll and HR processes including onboarding/offboarding
- Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile with expenses
- Assess and improve processes during rapid growth while ensuring compliance
- Stay updated on local regulatory changes and communicate them across teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide payroll/HR expertise for your region
- Respond to complex payroll and HR questions from employees and clients

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of payroll and HR experience with country-specific experience
- Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and policies
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to explain issues clearly to stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Fluency in English
- Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage
- Experience with implementing new payrolls on recognized payroll solutions is preferred
