As a Senior Electrical Engineer in AECOM's Buildings + Places team in Milan, you lead electrical building services design from concept to completion. Responsabilità
- Lead design and delivery of electrical building services from concept through construction
- Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications and drawings
- Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, communication, fire alarm and LV systems
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
- Manage deliverables, schedules and quality with high technical standards
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support their professional development
- Participate in client meetings and project reviews, presenting solutions and recommendations
- Support business development through bids, tenders and technical proposals
- Ensure compliance with codes, sustainability standards and industry best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical building services engineering, preferably in consultancy
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Strong technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and building electrical systems
- Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Good understanding of Italian and international codes, standards and regulations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience coordinating junior engineers and working in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- International project experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM workflows and electrical design and sizing software is an advantage
- Professional registration or equivalent qualification is an advantage
